is Vice President of Production for Faulkner Strategies. He primarily oversees operation of the print facility including operating and maintaining the HP-5000 Indigo digital offset press and all finishing equipment used in completing customer jobs. When he is not found in the shop, he is generally found visiting clients and nurturing enduring relationships.
With a background in electronics, fiberglass and aluminum extrusion manufacturing, Mike applies all the fundamental elements of management to ensure timely completion of customer orders. His in-depth knowledge of quality systems management enables him to apply the necessary controls to ensure customer technical requirements are met correctly the first time.
Prior to entering private sector manufacturing, Mike was an Aviation Maintenance Officer for the United States Navy. As a 29-year veteran, he gained a deep appreciation for the complexities of managing large aircraft component repair programs, both shore-based and shipboard, including resolving production roadblocks and directing large workforces in demanding environments.
In addition to managing production, Mike also takes an active role in training the Faulkner Strategies team. He has cross-trained selected members of the team in the operation of the highly sophisticated Indigo press to enable 24/7 operations when needed. He has also developed and provided training presentations for Basic Marketing Techniques including developing marketing plans for clients in various industries.
Mike is active in civic and community organizations as well as his church. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Logistics Management. He lives in Granger, Indiana, with his wife, Nancy.
